We have been privileged to have Malcolm Paine practice his trade in Australia and is well known to many through his willingness to share his knowledge at clinics around the country gained from over 60 years in the blacksmithing trade. We are fortunate that Malcolm has decided to put pen to paper and publish a book on hand forging techniques of the traditional country blacksmith.

This book is written in simple language covering many aspects of blacksmithing from making charcoal through to making tools and many blacksmithing techniques. The book also contains easy to follow projects with plans and is backed up by many illustrations and photographs.

The book is published and printed in Western Australia on excellent quality paper, and is spiral bound for convenience and long life.
